My multi-part Substack review of the light novel “Apple Black: Origins” is now adapted for YouTube. Most if it is reading what I wrote here, but now with sophisticated nature stock footage easing you through the journey.
The intro and last 20 minutes are new material, since this is my first time introducing my boyfriend WhytManga to the fine people of YouTube.
It took a minute to adapt this since this had a Production Budget. I had to find a spot to film, buy the book, burn the book.
If this is going to be an hour+ video, I needed to start with something big and crazy.
And the description is true: monetization is off for this video.
I’ll say that again in big text, since it’s such a big deal:
Monetization is off for this video!
Thank you, thank you, but you can sit down now, this standing ovation has gone on for long enough.
I talk a lot of shit in this video and throw a lot of wild guesses into the open. Even the title— insinuating that Whyt didn’t read his own book— is huge.
Since I didn’t have hard evidence (and profiting off of shit talk is pretty tasteless) turning off adsense pennies is the classiest move you can do when a video starts with a book burning.
Somehow, the spine survived the burning. Willow can continue to give me The Glare. I better think twice before I try to bully!
I’m not lurking on Saturday AM’s socials like I used to, so feel free to drop a comment on this post if they find my video 🫶
Thanks for reading!
