I have 3 updates today.

1: Hamburger Manga

My manga oneshot, “My boyfriend wants a hamburger more than sex” can now be read in English on Mangadex

(Since we’re all friends here, I trust that no one will tell my publisher I uploaded to a scanlation site).

This manga was made for Kuromitsu’s annual oneshot contest. They’re a josei magazine that specializes in forbidden romances. Since this oneshot performed the best of any of my oneshots, I got it in my head that I absolutely need to enter this specific contest again. If I vanish from the Internet for a few months, this is why.

(Since we’re all friends here, I trust you’ll tell my publisher why I went missing).

In an earlier draft of my hamburger manga, the plot was a bit convoluted. The protagonist works as a WcDonalds cashier, she has a disappointing one-night-stand, and discovers that she actually slept with the WcDonalds CEO’s son?! And now, he’s working at her restaurant so he can understand the business better?!

It was a story that relied heavily on coincidences and luck, with little emotional backing.

In the final version I tried to think through a better reason for them to get together, stay together, and have a conclusive ending where they could work together as a couple.

But I think the comments section sells this story better than I could.

Luckily, the English-speaking audience seems to have had a similar reaction. It was even reposted to r/animenocontext… I’m both flattered and thrilled!

This really motivated me to make more works that are memorable to the audience. I hope I can keep challenging myself and delivering on this. (And to the person who uploaded my work to reddit, thank you! I hope more people will do the same)

2: New Polymonfur

That’s right. New Polymonfur chapter is out, and yes, Ushida is in this one. Read it now on Lumebento.

This is the most sexually-driven chapter yet, since Kai isn’t around for most of it.

3: Raffle Updates

We’ll have our first raffle drawing at 50 followers, and we just passed the 25 follower mark. Halfway there!
