I will review your comic + Art Raffle Roundup
Hi everyfurry!
I had a lot of fun doing my big writeup about how to get published at Saturday AM. Since it was so dang fun, I want to do more editorial-style content on this platform.
I’ve made a Google form for anyone who has a comic/manga/webcomic/webtoon they want me to review. Doesn’t have to be your series, just anything you want to hear my loudmouth opinion on.
But odds are, you’re here for my art raffle, not comic talk. So I’d like to show off the prizes from the first art raffle.
Since we were able to hit our follower goal on time, 2 winners received full-color art, and 4 winners received monochrome art.
First the grand prizes:
The first of the “monochrome” art, I ended up coloring. I was slow to reply, and I felt guilty so I did a quick color and threw in some simple alts (Plus it’s fun messing with a tough guy like Cyrus).
The next two monochrome arts:
You might notice I’m short one monochrome drawing. After emailing 3 different people telling them they won, I’ve yet to get a reply (If any of those 3 want to step forward, you have until the next raffle drawing). I’m gonna guess when you cold-email a stranger “You’ve won a prize (Real) (Not fake) (Gone Right)” it’s more likely to be flagged as spam and banished to the shadow realm. Oops.
In the next raffle announcement post, I’ll also include a heavily c**ns*r*d version of the winner’s emails. I’ll keep it as anonymized as I can (since revealing who’s on an email list is typically a dick move). I just want to give enough of a hint for any winners to check their spam folder, so hopefully this issue won’t happen again.
The next raffle drawing is still set when we hit 200 followers, and we’re currently at 75 followers. I promised I’d double the prizes if we hit 200 by November 1st, and let’s be real - it’s looking unlikely we’ll hit it. I want to keep these follower goals realistic, but ambitious. Hopefully we can meet the follower goal for the third raffle.
