Here’s some FAQ’s about the financial side of my commissions.

Why paid subscribers only?

I do not offer redraws. I’m strict about each request being contained to their 30-minute window and blocking anyone who asks for more than that. Most of the paid subscribers have already received art (either from a giveaway or referral prize), so they’re more familiar with my process/style.

I apply the same rules for paid art and free art - check the ToS for a more detailed breakdown. But in short: No redraws, no refunds.

Being strict means I can make more art, offer it at a lower price, quick turnaround time, and avoid burnout.

Am I allowed to subscribe for just one month, buy a commission, then unsubscribe?

Sure.

My subscription is a giveaway gift/7-day free trial/bought by my friend. Can I still buy a commission?

Yes.

If I pay extra will you do a drawing longer than 30 minutes?

No.

If I pay extra will you correct my art if it comes out wrong?

No. Also, blocked.

Will you ever offer commissions besides the 30 minute drawing?

This is the kind of illustration commission that works best for me. Anything else makes me miserable, so the price would have to be pretty high for me to endure it.

The only exception: If you make manga/comics and need an assistant/artist, email the details of your project and pay rate to tapirclip@substack.com
