1. Back at Conbini
I finally went to Conbini’s new location!
It’s a super cute anime goods store—one of those specialty shops where I know I’d be about 5% happier if I lived within walking distance.
At their old location they used to have a boba/snack bar, and it’s a bit of a bummer they got rid of it in the move. But hey, I wasn’t going there for the food, and I’d rather they get rid of that over the manga section. Not every small business can keep The Vibes completely in tact when they move across town, and fortunately it’s still the same Conbini.
It’s such a clean, pleasant place. Anywhere with more than 2 waifu figures inevitably falls on a spectrum between “soothing aesthetic” and “neckbeard nest.” And Conbini has the soothing aesthetic perfected.
I bought a Bini bookmark and I was thrilled to see Retsuko canonized alongside the anime greats.
2. New manga oneshot
My new manga oneshot, “Her swimsuit hides her large breasts” is live on Mangalab. It’s exactly as it promises on the title. Here’s a preview:
No English version yet, since big anime boobs are a universal language.
I made this after thinking of how much I hate the lesson in “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” Let’s take that terrible lesson and make it crazy, with a total scumbag protagonist.
3. Youtube Reviews
I’m still doing reviews on Youtube, check out my latest videos:
Comments and views are falling lately since I don’t have Mr. Birchum to get pissed off over. I’m trying to figure out my niche, hopefully it’s not just “drama farming over the latest thing that Sucks”.
4. Whats Next?
There’s a new Mangalab contest so I’ll give that a try.
